Sometimes it is hard to know where to begin and what to do first. In those situations, it is useful to have someone to help you think through the options and develop a plan. Although we do offer content consulting, i.e. providing specific expertise on creativity and innovation, our preferred role is process consulting, in which we help you to develop knowledge and plans that are suitable for your organisation.

The client organisation is a multi-national funding body with a focus on poverty reduction. Although the organisation's work was well regarded, an external evaluation had rated them as lacking in innovation. KI was invited to help develop an innovation strategy and - as part of implementing the strategy - to train the staff in creative problem solving.
This project is currently in progress, and the training has so far been delivered to staff in several countries. However, KI believe that more work must be done in order for the training to be appropriately adapted to the needs of staff working in areas of great poverty. This process of adaption is currently a research project and we would be keen to hear from anyone interested in learning and contributing to the project.
